This is the team at the new Sainsbury’s supermarket in our mixed-use scheme in Abbey Wood. After 4 years and £85 million, the mixed use Cross Quarter scheme is now complete.
Located right next to the Abbey Wood train station, which is set to become the South East terminus for Crossrail in 2018, this is an area that’s on the up.
In addition to the brand new Sainsbury’s, there are 220 new homes in the new apartment building next door. The new supermarket will providing the residents of Abbey Wood with more choice and convenience in a previously poorly served shopping area.
The scheme also includes 5,000 sqft of retail and commercial space for start ups, a nursery and a new public square that will create a meeting place for residents and shoppers.
