Forget Silicon Roundabout in London or the Google Campus in San Francisco, the new space for start up businesses and creatives is in Sittingbourne.
No. 34 on Sittinbourne High Street opened it’s doors in late September, run by grassroots arts organization Ideas Test, No. 34 offers flexible workspace to support local business start ups and a programme of digital and business skills support for emerging creative businesses.
The launch of No. 34 comes is just the beginning of a major £46 million mixed use regeneration project that we are working on in partnership with Swale Borough Council, The Spirit of Sittingbourne.
This new business and creative space is set to boost Sittingbourne’s economy and creative life in the town, by providing resources for people who might otherwise take their skills elsewhere.
Those interested in keeping up to date with No. 34’s progress can follow @IdeasTest on Twitter (use the #No34), like Ideas Test on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ideastest, or by signing up for the Ideas Test newsletter at www.ideastest.org.uk.
