Celebrating our new home in U+I style

We threw open the doors at Howick Place last night and welcomed friends, collaborators, architects, designers and development partners to help us celebrate the launch of U+I in our new home. Over 450 guests joined our team for the party which we curated to reflect the U+I spirit of collaboration and creativity.

To add flavour to the evening, we invited some of the businesses who have been involved with our developments to provide food and entertainment for all. Street food vendors including The Cheese Truck, Pop Dogs and The Roadery served their signature dishes throughout the evening and infamous pop up cocktail bar, Little Nan’s kept the mood lively with their award-winning teacup cocktails.

A whole troop of circus performers entertained our guests throughout the night, bringing a sense of mischief and mayhem to the celebration. In the lobby, artist Jessica Childs who was part of the original community of artists at the Deptford Project - drew crowds (quite literally) in pen and ink, and artist Luke Haseler provided us with some live art, painting a mural on one of our office walls during the course of the evening. Luke and a group of other artists are currently based at Platform our building in Southwark on the site of our JV with TfL to develop over and around Southwark Underground Station.

Our new office space, designed by Phil Coffey and Ab Rogers took on the party vibe as we filled it with neon signs from Gods Own Junkyard and DJ’s Norman Jay and Damian Wilson provided the funky beats.

Thank you to everyone who came along to help us celebrate this exciting new chapter for our company.
