Mark Richardson has joined the company as the Director of Delivery.
U+I, the mixed-use property regeneration specialist, has today announced three new senior appointments. Mark Richardson has joined the company, and the Executive Committee, as the Director of Delivery. Tom Edgerley and Matt Sampson have been appointed as Development Directors. These new roles highlight U+I’s commitment to its vision of delivering some of the most exciting and successful regeneration projects in the UK by attracting and growing top talent.
These appointments come at the end of a strong first year for U+I, which culminated in the delivery of Deptford Market Yard and the recent win of the major Manchester Mayfield regeneration scheme.
Mark Richardson provides senior strategic leadership around the delivery of U+I’s regeneration portfolio, working with stakeholders and partners to ensure success. Previously Pre-Construction Director at Laing O’Rourke, Mark has worked on some of the capital’s most recognisable projects, including One Hyde Park, The Francis Crick Institute and Leadenhall, all delivered while continuing to develop and nurture new business for the entire UK business.
Joining U+I from Exemplar, Tom Edgerley is responsible for managing U+I’s project teams, translating concepts into reality and overseeing developments through their entire life cycle. As a new Development Director he will also be responsible for ensuring the commercial success of U+I’s projects. Tom was previously working as Senior Development Manager on projects including London Fruit and Wool Exchange, One Bedford Avenue and Fitzroy Place.
Meanwhile Matt Sampson has been promoted from within U+I to work alongside Tom Edgerley as a Development Director. Previously a Senior Development Manager, his current projects include 12 Hammersmith Grove and 1 Brunel Place, in Slough.
